About the Rocky Mountain Hazardous Materials Association
The Rocky Mountain Hazardous Materials Association (RMHMA) is a non-profit organization that was formed to bring ALL groups impacted by hazardous materials together. The RMHMA provides a forum for education, interaction and cooperation. The conceptualization of hazardous materials varies greatly depending on which organization / company you work for. Sharing an understanding of how we all do our jobs in relation to hazardous materials is the most important factor of all.
Within our web site you will find information on Training, News Letters, Links To Other Haz-Mat Web Sites, Pictures Of Haz-Mat Incidents From The Rocky Mountain Region and Membership Information.
The Rocky Mountain Hazardous Materials Association (RMHMA) draws upon the experience and expertise available from the public, industry, emergency response and regulatory agencies involved in the manufacturing, storage, transportation, disposal and public safety activities associated with hazardous materials. RMHMA is committed to providing opportunities for these groups and individuals to exchange information and share experiences in an open and amiable form for the benefit of all.
The RMHMA Board of Directors currently consist of representatives from Fire Departments, Law Enforcement, Schools, Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Consultants, Health, Government, Emergency Medical Services, Industry and Transportation. The Board of Director is constantly striving to provide up-to-date information and training to everyone impacted by hazardous materials. We are very open to suggestions from our membership base and are constantly seeking their input.
Overall, We just want you to know that RMHMA is Here for you - whether you represent Government, Industry, Law, Emergency Response, Consultants, Contractors or anyone else impacted by hazardous materials.
